About Us

I’m Georgia, a physiotherapist with a deep respect for complex little bodies and the families who care for them.

My journey began in Bundaberg in 2017 when I moved from my hometown of Brisbane to start my career. I worked across hospital and community settings, and it was there that I discovered where my heart truly sits, supporting children to move, explore, and build confidence in ways that feel meaningful for their everyday lives.

Over time, I felt a growing frustration. I could see what was possible for many of the children I was working with, but I did not always have access to the tools or therapy models that matched that potential. I wanted more for them and for their families.

That drive led me to train and work alongside an incredible physiotherapist on the Sunshine Coast, where I was introduced to an intensive therapy model, particularly Cuevas Medek Exercises. It transformed the way I approached paediatric care. The structure, the progression, and the intention behind it aligned deeply with how I believe children should be supported. I knew immediately that families in regional Queensland deserved access to this approach.

In 2024, I travelled to Chile to train directly under Ramón Cuevas and completed my Level 2 CME qualification. That experience strengthened my clinical reasoning and reinforced my commitment to evidence informed, thoughtful care.

I founded Sprout and Thrive to bring this specialised intensive therapy model home to Bundaberg. After running outreach clinics while based on the Sunshine Coast, my family and I are excited to be returning permanently in 2026. It feels like coming full circle.

In the clinic, connection comes first. I celebrate every inchstone and work closely with families so they feel confident, supported, and informed throughout the process. Therapy should feel purposeful, respectful, and grounded in real life.

When I am not working, you will usually find me with my family, reading, crocheting, or planning our next travel adventure.

Above all, I am dedicated to creating an environment where families feel supported, children feel capable, and growth happens with intention.
