WHO THIS IS FOR
Is your child under school age with complex physical needs?
Georgia works with children whose bodies need more than a generalist physio can offer. If any of the following sounds like your child, you're in the right place.
β Down syndrome (Trisomy 21)
β Cerebral palsy
β Rare genetic conditions
β NDIS-funded and privately funded complex physical support needs
Not sure if your child fits? That's completely okay β most families aren't sure before they reach out. Send us a quick message at georgia@sproutandthrive.com.au and we'll let you know whether we're the right fit.

A 3-day therapy block runs Tuesday to Thursday. It is an intensive, focused period of hands-on physiotherapy that allows Georgia to work deeply on your child's specific movement goals without the gaps that come with weekly sessions. Research supports concentrated therapy blocks as an effective model for children with complex physical needs and families consistently tell us the progress is more visible and more sustained.
-
Yes. Both the 3-day therapy block and weekly appointments are NDIS-funded services. Families currently pay nothing out of pocket. If you are unsure whether your plan covers this, reach out before booking and we can help you work through it.
-
Yes. Georgia sees families from across the Wide Bay region. Many families travel from Gympie, Maryborough, and Hervey Bay for the 3-day intensive block. The concentrated format makes the travel worthwhile because you are not making the trip every week.

Session length and scheduling are planned with the childβs tolerance, regulation, and individual needs in mind. -
Intensive blocks are offered at set times throughout the year.
Availability varies depending on capacity and scheduling, and families are encouraged to register interest to stay informed about upcoming blocks. -
No. Families can choose to participate in an intensive block without committing to ongoing services, maintaining your current regular therapist for weekly appointments.
-
For many families, intensive physiotherapy can be funded through NDIS plans in the same way as weekly physiotherapy, depending on individual circumstances and plan goals. Support with understanding funding options and documentation can be discussed as needed. Book in a quick phone chat with me here.

Between intensives, families are given guidance that supports everyday practice in a way that is realistic and manageable. Time between blocks is intentionally used for consolidation and participation in daily life, alongside other supports where relevant.
